Bowron's Bounty

The Bear River Mercantile Family Restaurant features good home cooking, reasonable prices and a beautiful view. They have a morning breakfast menu served until 11:00am and then serve burgers, home made soups, sandwiches and quick meals thoughout the rest of the day. They also do our best to make special meals for Vegetarians or specific dietary needs.

The restaurant seats 30 people and with advance notice they can cater buffet style meals to
larger groups & family events.Our restaruant is open to all, whether you want to eat or just sit

Luxury on the Lake

Open from May through September, the main building at Becker's Lodge has been carefully restored and maintained to protect the historic integrity of the building.

Becker's Lodge is situated on a bluff about 100 feet directly above Bowron Lake, with a fantastic view of the snowcapped Cariboo Mountains in the background.

Visit the Goldfield Bakery in Barkerville and take a walk down memory lane. The aroma of fresh baked sourdough bread and cookies that wafts through the air as you enter the bakery will take you back in time.
