Thursday, January 25th

6:00 PM

No Host Supper at Granville’s Coffee House, Meet and Greet, Final Packaging of all Envelopes, Musher’s Meeting

Friday, January 26th

9:30 AM

Swearing in of mail carriers...Canada Post Office...Reid St. Quesnel

9-12:00 AM

Participants  leave Umiti Pit for Cottonwood

5:00 PM

All participants at Cottonwood

All Night

Campout at Cottonwood (bring all your own camping gear)

Note: On Friday night, teams may choose to camp out overnight at Cottonwood or they can arrange to have trucks pick them up and transport them back to Quesnel for the night. Some teams may choose to drive out to Cottonwood in time for the camp out.  Some handlers and family members may also want to camp out.  We hope to have a campfire with entertainment as part of the campout at Cottonwood.  Please respect the fact that the campout will take place on private property!

Saturday, January 27th

8-10:00 AM

Breaking camp at Cottonwood...breakfast available for purchase

10:00 AM

Leave Cottonwood for Troll Resort following camp out. Some participants may drive to Cottonwood to begin run to Troll Resort.

1:00  PM

All participants arrive at Troll Resort, lunch available for purchase at Troll snack bar, those camping can begin to set up their camps, public will be invited to meet mushers and to view the dog teams, participants can relax in Troll Resort Lodge

2:00 PM

Skijoring Clinic/Demonstration

2:45 PM

Lead Dog Contest

3:15 PM

One Dog Weight Pull

6:30 PM

Socializing in Troll Resort Lodge

7-10:30 PM

Banquet…mushers, volunteers, snowmobilers, skiers, handlers, family members.. Banquet tickets must be pre-purchased. Presentation of awards, small fund raising auction, entertainment.

Note: Everyone is encouraged to spend Saturday night camping at Troll Resort.  Remember that Troll Resort is private property, please treat everything and everyone with respect.  It is also possible for teams to drive back to Quesnel for the night or to spend the night in Wells and then to return on Sunday morning.

Sunday, January 28th

7-9:00 AM

Break camp at Troll, breakfast available for purchase, get ready to drive dog trucks to Stanley

10:30 AM

All  participants leave Stanley for Barkerville

1:30 PM

Barkerville Dash from Barkerville to Wells

3:00 PM

Barkerville Dash awards at Wells helipad, deliver mail to Canada Post, heading home
